Tin Shine Aung is a passionate, innovative, solution-focused young professional with 3 years of experiences in academic research project related to marine sciences and 2 years of experiences in United Nations related to sustainable development and disaster risk management trainings. He is currently working as the Knowledge Management Specialist in FishAdapt project at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Representation in Myanmar.
Besides, he is a member of the Young South East Asia Leader Initiative (YSEALI) and also serving as a council member in the Ambassador’s Youth Council (AYC) at the U.S. Embassy in Myanmar.
He is an Erasmus Mundus Alumnus and received his master's degree in Marine Sciences-Marine Resources (Marine Natural Products) in 2017 at Abel Salazar Biomedical Science Institute, University of Porto in Portugal under the European Union funded program. He also earned a master's degree in Biochemistry and a postgraduate diploma in International Studies at the University of Yangon, Myanmar respectively.
